The program

Skill. Character. Fundamentals.

We don't chase trophies or tournament records. We build players who outwork the moment — and who arrive on a high school field already looking like Dirtbags.

Where we started

Diamond Dirtbags started in the high school dugout. The youth program came after — built down division by division so by the time an athlete walks onto a varsity field, they've been in our system for years. Same coaches, same standards, same dirt.

02

How we practice

Two field sessions a week per team during the season. Small groups, position-specific stations, every athlete touches the ball every drill. No standing in line.

03

How we compete

Local league play plus 2–4 tournaments per season depending on division. We measure success by at-bats, reps, and the kid who didn't make a team last year hitting his first triple this year.

04

How we coach

Every coach is NFHS-certified, background-checked annually, and committed to Positive Coaching Alliance methodology. Parents are partners, not customers.

05

How we keep it accessible

Sibling discounts. Scholarship review on every registration. Equipment loan program. We've never turned an athlete away for cost and we don't plan to start.

Off-field work

More than at-bats.

Reps on the field are half the story. The other half is mobility, strength, plyometrics, and recovery — built for growing bodies, run year-round.

    Mobility
  • Athlete on a plyometric jump box

  • Footwork ladder drill

  • Strength work with dumbbells
